Lauren Magoun

Lauren is the Senior Health Strategy Specialist at Dimagi. She researches and develops innovative strategies to improve access to quality mental health care globally, co-leading Dimagi’s work in the space with the Chief Strategy Officer. Her work includes building partnerships with funders, academics, and implementers to advance these and other innovative research efforts towards impact. 

Prior to joining Dimagi in 2021, Lauren directed innovative, results-focused quality improvement projects at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and the National Institute for Children’s Health Quality (NICHQ).  She served in both project and operational roles, partnering with funders, subject matter experts and families to design and deliver projects that improved MNCH outcomes. Lauren also has been a human resources researcher and consultant in the not-for-profit and technology sectors. She received her MPH from Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and an MBA from Brandeis’s Heller School for Social Policy & Management. She graduated with her BA from Dartmouth College.

Lauren loves to travel near and far and spent a gap year with her husband and kids traveling around the world. In her free time she serves on the board of directors of an independent school and has a goal of reading a book a week.
