Fatou Sow

Fatou joins Dimagi as a Senior Project Analyst in Global Services team in Dakar.

She graduated as an engineer in electronics and embedded systems from the polytechnic school of Nantes.
As part of her program, she did an external semester in Montreal and studied, apart from computer science related class, Medical imaging her favorite class of her student years!!
After graduating and returning to Paris, she spent 2 years as a C developer in embedded systems in a communications company before joining GE healthcare to work on Xray generator system.
From there, she worked for an IT company in Financial markets for 2 years.

She believes that IT will play a big role in the future development of Africa and is really interested in healthcare issues and environmental protection.

In her free time, Fatou loves traveling and discovering new places, as well as trying adrenaline activities, reading and … eating guacamole.
