Kishan Sampat - Dimagi

Kishan has a strong passion for ICT4D and loves to explore the implementation of ICT solutions in improving the lives of people in the community.

Kishan has an undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Technology from United States International University – Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. He has worked with UNHCR in Kenya where he supported ICT operations and has also worked in the agriculture industry in Kenya where he played a supporting role in network administration and the implementation of ERP systems.

Kishan’s interest in development stems from his work for UNHCR where he designed and developed a website for the Somalia Return Consortium, which brought into light the voices of refugees and internally displaced people in Somalia, and put together resources for relief workers who aided refugees to return home to Somalia. At Dimagi, Kishan aims to further contribute his expertise in supporting the delivery of lasting solutions to underserved communities around the world.

Kishan loves adventure, traveling and hiking. He also practices playing the keyboard and aspires to play the piano.
