Dimagi Wins Elasticsearch Cause Award

We’re proud to announce that Dimagi’s technology team was recognized last week as a winner of the second annual Elastic Cause Awards for innovative use of the Elastic Stack in social impact. Dimagi uses Elastic’s technology to provide flexible and efficient indexing for patients tracked by CommCare mobile apps.
Accepting the award on behalf of Dimagi was Farid Rener, one of Dimagi’s senior engineers who has worked directly alongside doctors and frontline health workers in the fight against the tuberculosis epidemic in India. Presenting on Dimagi’s approach, Rener spoke to vital role technology can play in social impact.
We believe that mobile solutions can transform the efficiency, quality and impact of service delivery programs. By combining our mobile data collection platform with the power of the Elastic Stack, we are improving the efficiency that workers can follow-up with patients, and giving government decision makers a more accurate and timely view of the efficacy of current programs,” Rener said.
Hundreds of organizations worldwide rely on apps built with Dimagi’s open source CommCare platform. CommCare allows teams to build their own offline mobile apps, without programmers.
