Dimagi Featured in Stratos.com Article "Lifesaving Technologies For the Next Billion"
Dimagi was recently featured in the article “Lifesaving Technologies For the Next Billion,” on Stratos.com. In the article, writer Heather Thompson explores “two technologies that have potential to provide key services on a global scale.” One is CommCare, and the other technology is Passive Vaccine Storage Device created by the Intellectual Ventures Lab’s Global Good program.
Thompson talks about a few of Dimagi’s tactics to implementing key services on a global scale. This includes our design under the mango tree philosophy, equipping users in low-connectivity areas with applications that work offline, and developing technology that create(s) additional value for, as our CEO Jonathan Jackson says “self-learning, self-empowerment, and entertainment.”
