Join our April CommCare Webinars!
Dimagi is hosting two 90-minute webinars this April about CommCare, Dimagi’s mobile platform that is used in over 40 countries.
CommCare is a cloud product used by hundreds of frontline programs around the world to equip their frontline workers with mobile apps. CommCare is designed to enable non-programmers to build free mobile apps for their frontline programs. For more information about CommCare, please check out the public CommCare help site here.
In order to provide training on advanced technical topics in CommCare, Dimagi recently launched a monthly webinar series that includes two upcoming webinars this month:
- CommCare 101: An Introduction to CommCare (Wednesday, April 15th from 2-3:30 PM EDT): We’ll be re-running the CommCare101 webinar we ran in March for folks that missed it. This webinar will provide a general overview of the CommCare platform, including looking at specific CommCare use cases. We will demonstrate how to build and deploy mobile applications using CommCare, and see how these mobile applications function on a phone. The webinar will end with Q&A from participants, and is geared towards folks who haven’t used CommCare before and are interested in learning more about building mobile apps using CommCare. Can’t make it? You can watch a recording of last month’s webinar, which will be very similar to this month’s.
- Using Multiple Languages In CommCare (Wednesday, April 22nd from 10-11:30am EDT): This webinar will provide participants with an overview of how to use multiple languages in CommCare. As part of this webinar, participants will learn how to add multiple languages to CommCare applications (including non-roman character languages), and how to switch between languages on a phone. Participants will also learn how to use the “bulk upload” feature for easy translation uploads, and learn about best practices in using and field testing applications with multiple languages. The webinar will end with Q&A from participants.

With three hub offices, partners spread all over the world, and with a good portion of the team traveling at any given time, team meetings and partner engagement have included remote participation for all of Dimagi’s 20 year history.
