5 Steps to Build Your First Mobile Application in Less Than 15-Minutes

Building a mobile application for the first time might feel a bit daunting starting out. I know it was for me, at least! That’s why I wanted to write a blog post to ensure our users have a quick and easy guide for getting started with CommCare.
While CommCare allows you to build highly complex mobile apps, the best way to get started is to build a first draft of a very simple application, and then deploy it onto your mobile phone. This will help you understand the look and feel of a CommCare app—before adding complex logic and questions.
Ready to get started? Click below to check out the 5 basic steps for building a mobile app in less than 15-minutes. (And get your timers out because some of our users have succeeded in 8-minutes. Let us know if you beat the record!)
Of course, spending 15-minutes in CommCare will only let you scratch the surface of what’s possible in the platform. However, this experience will teach you the basics and will give you a baseline of knowledge to build on while you are discovering more advanced features.
If you have any questions along the way, we are always here to help. Request a demo or walk-through of CommCare. Or check out our help site and the CommCare Users Google group for commonly asked questions and advice.
Good luck app building!
