Between 2016 and 2020, Dimagi worked with Tufts University to design and build the INDDEX24 Mobile App, and to support early adopters of INDDEX24.
The survey tool aims to provide a robust and flexible means of collecting dietary data in any geography and any setting via 24-hour dietary recalls.
The IITA in Nigeria is using INDDEX24 to collect dietary data as part of its national food consumption survey. Dimagi is offering tailored support directly to the IITA Nigeria team, which consists of nearly 300 survey personnel and enumerators. This additional support will contribute to improved implementation outcomes of the application in Nigeria. The ultimate aim of INDDEX24 is to enable “the design and implementation of more effective food, nutrition, and agricultural policies and programs that will improve the health, well-being, and livelihoods of people worldwide.”
