Ian has always been drawn to technology with an impact. Recently, Ian helped manage and lead the growth of women-owned cooperatives at the Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA Bharat), an organization that works for women in the informal sector throughout India. Ian has also co-authored publications surrounding Public Health Policy in India, particularly on the topic of task-shifting as a solution to address low quality and presence of doctors in rural areas. Prior to SEWA, Ian previously worked in the mobile data collection space in Boston. Ian is a proud graduate of Ohio State University, is a diehard Red Sox fan, has a crippling addiction to collecting baseball cards, and can usually be found with a hot, caffeinated beverage in hand.
