Ashley is an engineer interested in complex systems, weird errors, usability, and solving real problems. After 7+ years fighting with warehouse robots and herding cats (Engineers), she decided that Dimagi offered the opportunity to solve more important problems than how to deliver packages more quickly. As an Engineering Manager, she’s interested in building smart, dynamic teams that know when to focus on the whole solution and when to get into details.
She graduated from RPI in 2009 with a bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering, then backpacked for 6 months before landing in her previous life working with robots.
Outside of work, she likes to travel, ski, read, and wander around aimlessly. She can outline a two week backpacking trip in about an hour.
