Working with the Systems Design Team at the Earth Institute at Columbia University, Seema focused on visualizing the social networks of a hospital system in New York City to guide improved service delivery and staff connectedness. During this time she also worked with a social enterprise, interested in user centered design and mobile health solutions for community health workers in East Harlem. She was drawn to Dimagi because of the opportunity for immersive tech field work, and importantly, the action oriented product design and implementation being done here. She is grateful to be working with the talented, interdisciplinary team at Dimagi.
Seema enjoys learning about data visualization, trying to identify social patterns, pine tree forests and making instantaneous connections with people and plays. Her homes (in order of appearance) are Harare, New York City and Cape Town. She has a BS in Biomedical Engineering, focused on Tissue Engineering and an MPH in Epidemiology.
