Who You Are:

We’re seeking an accounting manager that is curious, cares deeply, and values quality to join our Finance team. The candidate will oversee the quarterly financial close process of our Headquarter’s books, as well as the books of our 4 international subsidiaries. They will be point on overseeing our annual Global Financial Audit, working with other members of the Finance team to provide our auditors with all schedules and supporting materials. They will prepare Quarterly Financial Reports for Debt Financing, and ensure all Financial terms of loan are met. The Accounting manager is someone who has excellent attention to detail, enjoys problem solving, a passion for working in accounting, and a desire to join an Org focused on making a global impact.

This role will be based in HQ in Cambridge, MA, however Dimagi will consider outstanding candidates to join us remotely from around the United States.

What you must do:

  • Oversee the quarterly close process and implement systems and processes that will increase the accuracy of financials while scaling for evolving accounting needs
  • Oversee the international consolidation and elimination process (i.e. consolidating financial statements across parent and subsidiaries), ensuring that intercompany journal entries are booked properly and produce consolidated financial reports
  • Field, triage and resolve employee questions as they pertain to accounting and financial processes
  • Manage audits including preparing schedules and paperwork, as well as proactively identify potential risk areas where more supporting materials are needed
  • Work collaboratively across teams, providing actionable insights to help drive efficiency and optimal business decisions
  • Prepare Quarterly Financial Reports for Debt Financing, and ensure all Financial terms of loan are met
  • Provide accounting guidance and support to junior finance team members and bookkeepers

What you must bring:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Minimum 2-3 Years audit management or project management experience
  • Superb attention to detail and an ability to identify gaps in data/processes and communicate effectively
  • Ability to identify and fix issues wherever they arise. Successful candidates are usually proactive, self-motivated, and analytical
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic environment
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work independently, critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels including management


  • Experience using Intacct accounting software
  • Experience using SalesForce
  • Experience working with international partners/clients
  • Experience working with a remote team
  • Speaks French
