Saijai Liangpunsakul Wins People's Choice Award for mHealth Work
Earlier this month, Dimagi Field Manager Saijai Liangpunsakul was recognized at Bangkok’s Mobile Solutions Forum for her work in the Asian mobile for development community. Since June of 2012, Saijai has worked on several mobile projects in Thailand for Dimagi, focusing particularly on improving community health development and anti-dengue campaigns. Saijai was awarded the People’s Choice Award at the conference after garnering the most votes from attendees for her proposal about using CommCare to track and treat dengue fever in Thailand.
Sponsored by USAID’s Regional Development Mission for Asia and USAID’s mStar Project, the Mobile Solutions Forum was created to bring people from the mobile technology and international development community in Asia. Check out some photos from the event on Facebook here.
