Dimagi to Host CommCare Workshop in Myanmar
Dimagi is hosting a free, one-day CommCare workshop in Yangon, Myanmar on September 16th, followed by an optional, advanced app building workshop from September 25-26th.
During the one-day CommCare workshop, participants will learn about mobile technology interventions including being introduced to Dimagi’s open source mobile tools. Participants will explore how mobile technology is being used across different sectors, learn about existing mobile programs in Myanmar, and brainstorm different ways mobile interventions can benefit their own programs. Workshop participants will have the option of attending a two-day advanced application building session from Sept. 25-26 to create their own mobile applications with Dimagi’s online, app-building tools.
- Dates: September 16th from 9:00am – 3:30pm; optional, advanced workshop from September 25-26th.
- Location: Mi Casa Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar
- Language: English
- Cost: Free
- Who should attend? Directors, program managers, department heads, and academics from NGOs, IGOs, funding organizations, research institutions, government agencies, and universities.
All workshop applications are due Wednesday, September 10th. Accepted organizations will be notified ASAP.
